David is our CEO and chief brand agitator, asking provocative and often awkward questions to discover what’s holding you back – and what, deep down in your DNA, will take you forward again.
After a successful career running one of London’s most innovative tech/B2B agencies – and working with many of the biggest tech brands – David’s found that he’s most fulfilled working with the industry’s boundary-pushers, rule-breakers and disruptors. In particular, he’s motivated by those who recognise marketing’s true potential as an agent of change: its ability to challenge, transform and inspire.
Alistair McKechnie, Creative
Alistair is our chief creative force, digging beyond the jargon to discover the emotional heart of a brand and bring it to life.
He has a big-brand, big-ad-agency background, but gravitated naturally towards tech: because ‘it makes a difference’.
After years spent working on global campaigns for the more well-known tech giants, he now gets enormous satisfaction from helping innovative challenger brands realise their potential.
HOW THE LEAP CAME TO BE
Inspired by the possibilities of the emerging tech industry, our journey began back in the early 80s with the creation of Europe's first specialist technology agency. Our founding belief was that marketing would be the key to unlocking the incredible potential of this nascent industry. Over that time we worked with a huge range of technology companies - from some of the biggest global brands to smaller tech start-ups.
However, our passion today has a clearer focus: working with both emerging tech firms, those blazing new trails, often at the cutting-edge of this amazing industry, and with more established tech brands facing the challenge and pains of a maturing market category. The imperative for both is the recognition that the brand must evolve if growth ambitions are to be realized.
